​COURSE CONTENT & MODULES 

You will leave the training with ample knowledge and endless holistic concepts to create original & engaging story & adventure based Yoga & Mindfulness educational experiences for mini yogis in the 2-6 age group.

You will learn how to structure a class for the target age group, how to interact, influence & cater for children of all needs & abilities through Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness & Positive Thinking; as well as gain specific knowledge of Brain & Yogic Anatomy, Philosophy, Classroom Behavior Management & Safeguarding for Toddlers to deliver successful sessions.

You will have a lot of fun completing the program as you take the child’s role to truly benefit from the experience, nurture your own inner child & understand their perspectives & individual physical, emotional or behavioral needs.

The course is fully registered & accredited under Yoga Alliance International & you will be certified upon completion.

Practice toddlers’ asana (yoga poses), games, meditations, relaxations, alignment, anatomy, partner poses, mindfulness, themes, props, child psychology, structuring & practicalities led and guided by your trainer. 

We include reading materials & practical assignments. Enjoy observing Live demo classes covering different topics,

poses & targeting younger & older mini yogis.

Module 1

Introduction to toddler yoga benefits, color energy & primary chakras for children ages 2-6,

warm up games, yoga in education, principles of teaching toddlers, breathing & mindfulness practices for toddlers,

yoga practice sessions in the role of the children.

Module 2

Toddler yoga poses, creative games, suitable toddler’s themes, Toddler Sun Salutation sequencing, meditations, toddler anatomy, brain anatomy, correct alignment, toddler yoga practice sessions in the role of the children.

Module 3

Partner poses, singing, planning, sequencing & themes to structure a toddler’s yoga class, sample classes,

teaching & theory practicum.
